1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Shopkeeper", "Dukandaar") and BikriSathi ("we", "us", "our"), operating from Durgapur, West Bengal.

By accessing or using our mobile application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Nature of Service ("As-Is" Disclaimer)

BikriSathi provides digital tools for inventory management, billing, and staff tracking. You acknowledge that:

• We are not accountants: The App is a tool to assist you. We do not provide professional accounting, tax, or legal advice.
• Calculation Errors: While we strive for accuracy, software bugs may occur. You agree to verify all bills, tax calculations (GST), and inventory counts before relying on them for official purposes.
• Service Availability: We do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for business interruptions due to server maintenance or technical failures.

3. Limitation of Liability

Please read this section carefully.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall BikriSathi, its founder, employees, or affiliates be liable for any:

• Indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages.
• Damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.
• Losses resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

4. Data Ownership & Responsibility

Your Data: You retain ownership of the business data you enter into BikriSathi. You grant us a license to store, back up, and process this data to provide the Service.

Data Loss: You are responsible for maintaining independent records of your business data (Physical Khata/Ledgers). BikriSathi is not liable for data loss caused by user error, device loss, or cyber-attacks.

Prohibited Use: You may not use BikriSathi for the sale of illegal goods, money laundering, or fraudulent activities. We reserve the right to terminate accounts suspected of such activity immediately.

5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in relation to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Durgapur, West Bengal.
